D E V A N T E + Z O E | 3.4.16 Wedding

As I’ve mentioned in the sneak peek posts on Instagram and Facebook, the Carlisles are such a sweet couple (and obviously so in love)!  They met and started dating in high school and have been together ever since!  Their wedding date was really important to them since it was actually their 6 year anniversary together as well! It was cold and the weather was certainly not in our favor that day, but it all turned out beautifully, nonetheless!  I’m so happy that I got to document the special day they’ll remember for the rest of their lives!

Scott and Caecilia’s February 20th wedding was perfectly beautiful in so many ways!  Not only did they do an amazing job planning the wedding in a relatively short amount of time, the weather could not have been more perfect for February!  Although the Venue was a little tricky to work with in some ways, I think the beautiful downtown atmosphere and the historic details at the Fort Wayne History Center made for the perfect place for this sweet couple’s big day.

Across the street, there's a building with a purple wall I've always liked the look of, and I was glad to finally be able to use it as a backdrop in the portrait pictures for this wedding!

The bride actually had two pairs of shoes, one for the ceremony and one for the reception. These were the reception shoes, which I loved.

The Groom's mother was not able to attend the wedding, so the wedding party did a group dance to honor her. It was moving, to say the least.
